Having just sat here and re read my last entry, it is somewhat interesting to note that my last two rounds have been more of the same...

2 rounds back was a 2 man ambrose (or scramble if you prefer) where I played with a fellow off 19 and we were square with the card after 14 holes and ultimately finished poorly and ended up shooting 5 over the card for the last 4 holes...

Last time out was a stroke round and I shot 91 of the stick and the form comment in the paper for this weeks round would read something like this...

"Last start 91 off the bat, 6 doubles & a triple. 37 Putts...
Ball striking is good, seems to struggle on and around the dance floor.
Keep safe..."

Ok, so enough of that. Since that last round, I took some advioce from a couple of members here (all thanks to those of you who know who you are...)and I went out an bought myself a copy of "Golf is not a game of perfect" by Dr Bob......

Have had the book for 8 days and I have read it cover to cover 3 times...!!!

Some of his analogies to other sports that I have also played and his little golfing idioms have really rung true for me and I see myself relating so clearly to more than a few of the anecdotes shared.

Bottom line, I am really looking forward to going out this week and am quietly confident of shooting a good number. That combined with the fact that my son is coming to again caddy for me will also be wonderful. I am a 5 strokes better golfer when he comes out with me.

As always, thanks for reading.
Cheers
