  • Right Leg

One of the things that allows me to hit down and through the ball is the movement of the right leg into a position at the start of the throughswing where the right leg is bent and pointing at the ball. I have heard it described as a "Z" position. If I use this to trigger my downswing and to push off and rotate the hips, it is a big help. I think it helps with transfer of weight to the right foot, another big problem of mind. This move seems to be very important for woods and the 2 through 4 irons but not so much with the more lofted clubs. I have to be really conscience of it and even then I don't execute this move consistently. What can I do to improve this action.
