  • The inside approach swing trainer!

Guys I just wanted to share some info about this item. I have just recently made me one and it seems to work. I had it at the range today and it seemed to do the job. It makes you approach the ball from the inside instead of the outside. Don't spend $60 on this thing. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy thte PVC and make your own. Here is the website so you can see it to build it!

    Cakalac,

    Thanks for the info,

You can use a cardboard box or a open golf brolly and hit ball from just underneath.

I think the inside approach is the only gadget that works for nearly everyone who uses it.

You can get one on E-Bay for $20. It doesn't include any of the videos or the carrying case but you get the original gadget. I bought the deluxe edition with all the trimmings. I think it was worth it. You get that for less on E-bay too. This is my first practice aid so I am looking forward to using it. I have made a lot of improvement in my game lately but have to fight the tendency to bring the club too far inside.

Someone posted a photo of one he made using a swiming "noodle" and a coat hanger. You simply suck it in the ground.

If I were desperate I would probably do that but I wanted the videos, carrying case, fold up design and sharp look. Whatever works.

This link shows you how to make and use a real cheapo version of it.

I built one out of PVC.

Man, my swing needs some serious work. Either I come OTT and make great contact (but play a high right fade), or I chunk it trying to come inside.

                In a nutshell, two words:

                Range time.

I made one also. Came out pretty good. I wonder if anyone has the dvd that comes with the inside approach?

Could you get the same effect using an extra golf ball - say 50 cm on the target line? (Or closer, but a little pit out side of target line).

This would force you to hit from inside - or you'll smack the extra ball...

Yeah, there are golf magazines with a simple tip- simply stick an extra tee towards the inside path...

So Guys, in summary, do you think this swing trainer effectively helps reduce coming over the top, and does it really assist in developing your swing to come more from the inside?

If so, I am getting this

                          tah
                          Mahbo
