  • One Driving Issue Solved..

I have had troubles lately with my driving, they all seem to slice a bit and go way to high.

I use a Titleist 983K with a regular shaft, anyway as the head is a 365cc I think its not as big as alot of the later drivers.

What I did was tee the ball down a little bit more and I also did one more thing, I moved the ball a touch more to the middle of my stance. What I think I was doing was starting my follow through a tad before I made impact, and by moving the ball more towards the center I started making contact before my follow through.

I think I use to have the ball level with my foot, I know some say an inch inside is ideal but I probably go another inch inside that now, it seems to work. Just thought I would share my findings incase it may help someone else.

Instead of trying to force myself to not follow through so soon, I kept my swing but like I said, moved the ball more towards the center.

I hit a 275 yard (Winter here, so less air time and roll) drive yesterday and it was dead staight, never deviated the slightest. Was a good feeling too.

Anyway, if people seem to have similar troubles you could try this I suppose.
