My issues with an extreme inside out golf swing have been well documented on this site so I would just like to share some results with those that have provided advice.
I went to the range tonight and changed three things:
1) Squared (in my case opened) a closed front shoulder to better match my square hips and toe line. (Thank you shootin4par)
2) I straighted up my spine so I wasn't so hunched over. (thank you shootin4par)
3) I utilized the right hand drill in a full swing and concentrated on holding the right wrist cup long into the downswing as my shoulders delivered the club to the back of the ball. (Thank you GregJWillis and shootin4par)
I got a straighter ball flight, better contact, SQUARE divots and center and center-toe contact, instead of hitting everything on the heel.
It still feels a little awkward for me, but these are the best results I have gotten in years.
Happy days are here again!
