  • Hooking 1 Wood off the tee and sometimes my irons???????

I am a beginner I have yet to set foot on a golf course. I have been going to a local driving range for about 3 months. I started out just using a driver a 10.5 degree Dunlop with a 350cc Titanium face. I hit it fairly well for a while. Now I use a 10.5 degree 420cc Ram with a Titanium face.I was at the range one day with a friend and a local instructor was teaching a young boy. After he finished with the boy he came over to my friend and I. I asked him if he had any swing advice. He pointed out some things I was doing wrong and it helped for a while. I had been slicing some shots to the right and he helped me with that but, now I'm hooking balls with my driver very badly. I hit my 3 wood fairly well most of the time but, my driver has completly gotten away from me. The instructor told me I am very right hand dominate and I don't swing with even power in both arms. I am at a loss for what to try to hit it straight with my driver again. When I go to the range somedays I hit everything fairly straight then the next time I come back I do the same thing and I hit awful. I started the day yesterday by hitting my driver almost straight down the middle of the range. Then the next 30 balls went out about 100 yards and hooked sharply into the ground. I welcome any and all help from set up to grip to follow thru. I am willing to start over again to get myself more consistant on a daily basis. I really would like to start playing next year. I am planning to practice all winter long so guys I need all your help and I will keep you posted on my progress.
