Wood and Long Iron Shots that Lack Distance

Hi,

I seem to connect ok when driving. My problem is that when I do, the ball travels very low to the ground and rolls. It's almost like there is so much forward roll that my ball curves toward the ground.

I have the same problem hitting my 3 and 4 iron. It feels like I am connecting ok, but still there is no height or distance to the shot. Please help.
