It looks like I'm going to be able to grab a few days off work in February and I'm thinking of heading to Scottsdale for some desert golf with some friends.

Has anyone on the boards here been and can recommend good accomodation? Just took a look at a feature in the January Golf Digest - I was thinking of Pointe Hilton (next to the mountains with a golf academy) or Millennium Resort McCormick Ranch (lakeside resort with two courses and central location). Any others? The Westin Kierland? Meridian condo resorts?

Also, open to suggestions as to any good reasonable priced courses out there. Was thinking of throwing in a couple of premium courses like We-Ko-Pa and Grayhawk (both recommended to me by friends) - anyone have any other ideas?
