consistency has arrived

I have made some changes in my game which have paid dividends over the last few weeks. i always had a good setup, ball position etc, but knew there was something small, but important, missing. I always had a mixture of tremendous drives and good iron play, but there was always too many bad shots in the roundThe end result being stuck on a handicap that wasnt moving.
I have introduced two key changes which seem to be the missing link. Firstly, during set up I have worked on the lowering of the right shoulder which encourages a slow and smooth takeaway and also a good square contact with a downward strike.When this lowering of the shoulder is applied, it also sets the club to attack the ball on a good inside to out plane. Secondly, by applying this set up with the driver, the result has been amazing. Great contact, long drives and most important, straight trajectory. I have dropped three strokes over the last three rounds, and last week shot a 79 gross. I hope these hints may help people who, like me are close to a solid game but cant find the missing piece.
