Hole in one's, so what does it take, a good swing and lady luck, I guess that's a fair statement. The last time I had a hole in one was 1978, in fact I had two of them that year on the same golf course different holes. The first one was a 196 yard 2 iron shot then a couple of months later an 8 iron flew into the hole on my tee shot on a 148 yard hole. Not a thing since then, until yesterday, playing the 9th. hole at the local club, a short hole with a nasty green that slopes hard away from you. I hit a hard 52 wedge hoping the ball would hold short of the pin, we did not see it go in but the group in front of us who had just cleared the green did. It's a nine hole course so when we arrived at this hole again playing it from a different set of tees and our last hole of the day I again selected my 52 wedge, a good solid shot on line over the flag and the ball held. I rolled in a 12 foot putt, not bad, three under for the round on that hole, so that will probably be my highlight of this golfing season, hope you all find some of the kindness lady luck presented me with last evening.
