I was going to put this on the club making site but would be preaching to the converted. My son inlaw gave me a Wilson Prestige killer whale hybrid may be 5 or 6, Perhaps someone could date it? It had hardly been used, with all the action happening on the inside 1/3 and some hozel marks. I cut the face back to as new and went for a hit. Well same marks same area, may be a few more centre. I pulled it apart , spined and FLOéd it. Then went for a hit
All marks are now dead centre. If I had not witnessed it I would not have believed it. I had in my head that a higher handicapper may not notice results of S and F. This experience set me straight. Another thing the face REALLY cuts up.It's not titanium ,or steel, if I had to guess I would say aluminium. I spoke to LowPost42, he agrees that basically it's the real deal testing that convinces one of spining and FLO 's validity in the end. It's cool when you can see those results. I had a second hand Adams Speedline that had the same problems, nobody could consistently hit the middle,it had heaps of marks on the bottom to(but they had great reviews). I wasn't savvy about club building and eventually it had one too many hozel hit and the head snapped and flew into a creek never to be seen again. So, if you try out a club and it works well take IT home, not an untested one.
