    Titleist ZM Forged Irons Review

With a real traditional feel, superior aesthetics, and shot making control these irons are suited for the lower handicap and highly skilled golfer.

These ZM irons feature a small size head with constant blade length. They do share somewhat of a resemblance with a set of butter knives... that said what a truely beautiful set of irons.

Some features that are listed on this iron:
    • A contemporary back design locates the center of gravity in the centre of the face by precisely distributing weight from the heel into the toe producing traditional solid feel.
    • Tour Validated Flight: Traditional blade performance with Tour standard loft specifications for Tour validated ball flight, shot and trajectory control and workability.
    • Tour Preferred Shape and Offset: Traditional profile with minimal progressive offset for a preferred set up appearance.
The ZM irons come standard with Dynamic Gold Steel Stock Shafts as well as Titleist Tour Velvet grips made by Golf Pride (lettering on reverse side of grip) and they are available in both right and left hand.

These irons are currently being used by Rory McIlroy to great effect. He has 6.5 Project X rifle shafts with golf pride tour velvet cord spined grips. D3 swing weight.

Personally after trying these I feel that my ball striking is not quite consistent enough for these irons. I play off 5 handicap and consider myself to be a good short game player but I prefer the backup of a cavity back iron with slightly larger heads.

That said for a slightly better and more consistent ball striker these are a must. On looks and feel they are by far the best irons I have tried in a very long time.

One of the best forged irons out there at the moment I currently have them in my bag. The Titleist ZM Forged Irons offer amazing feel, great looks, superb workability, and exceptional distance.

They are of course better suited to a low handicap/pro player.
