Just saying hi!
I have been "playing" golf off and on for about 9 years, only taking it seriously about three times throughout. I've recently caught golf fever again This time, however, it is FAR stronger and I can tell it's here for good.
Up until about two weeks ago I was unable to hit anything other than irons and attempted to tee off with a 3-iron all the time. Frustrating!
I finally had enough and decided to figure out this darned 3 wood I have. Once I got to a point where I felt I could at least make consistent contact I went out and played a round with a buddy and had, by far, my best golf experience ever. It was still really bad lol but it was good enough were I could actually enjoy myself and let me tell you, I had a GREAT time.
So anyway, now I'm here to stay and looking for beginner tips on hitting woods and drivers, particularly mechanical stuff that differentiates a driver swing from an iron swing.
Cheers!
