I have just bought some new Apex Edge irons.They were supposed to be regular steel shafts.l accidentally received stiff steel shafts instead ,but decided to try them anyway even though thinking they are too stiff for me.I previously used firm graphite rifle shafts with which when trying to hit the ball straight l could either hit it straight,fade or draw.With these new stiff shafts I either hit a nice draw or hook it.Never have hit a slice yet in 3 rounds.I am 44 yrs old and play off 8 and haven't got a fast swing.I guess my question is,can l use these shafts given my age and slow swing.Do l just need to find out how to control the hook?Any help would be great.Thanks.
