  • Hello all, great site

I have picked up the sticks after a loong layoff. I got new ones last summer and then the birth of our daughter has limited my "play" time. I went to the range on Monday and now have a very pronounced pull in all of my shots ( goes left, I am a righty). I used to be a horrible slicer and now am on the other side of the line.

I would like to know what to look for to help straighen my shot. I played with ball position to no avail. I have contemplated taking a lesson but fear the three steps back for one forward.
I am interested in trying the "keeping your hands high on the backswing". I think it is my swing plane that needs fixing. I also need to concentrate on striking the ball from inside/out. Another quote I read was "imagine the ball is square and try to hit it from the lower left corner to the upper right corner".

These are great tools as I am a very visual person. Anyways, thanks in advance and great site. Just wish I would have found it sooner.
