On the way round I bent down to stroke the greenkeeper's new terrier puppy, and it went for my throat - I just managed to duck back in time, and only suffered a small bleeding scratch on my chin.
On the back 9, I shot a PB +4 over par, partly due to an enormous 25 putt on the last hole that must have broken 8 feet left, and never looked like missing

+15 overall was one more than my personal best, and would have knocked 0.8 off my handicap had anyone been watching.
Hey ho - 4BBB at the weekend, and medal the weekend after - all to play for!
We get people walking across our course all the time!
Well done on the PB! You're doing bloody well for someone who's only been playing for a year!
Cheers
