Whew! been a while! sorry to not have posted in so long, would that i could say work has kept me too busy...fact of it is, I've paid waaaay too much attention to me beloved Cubs all summer! Alas and alack, to get to the playoffs, and suffer two straight losses (as of this writing). Still, hope springs...perhaps the boys are just setting the stage for high drama! now, to the golf...

Much playing, and even more practicing, have produced a much better game of late. handicap down to 9.2--imagine my stunned amazement to discover this! the club's computer thingy claims my average score is 83, but I think we might have gotten it in a Jetsons rummage sale....

I must say, I've been inspired by going through the back issues, as it were, by Scragger63 and the rest of you lot. more posts to come, including the captivating tale of a boy and his 3 wood. 'til then...hit 'em straight, guys! and Go Cubs!
