I had a lesson earlier this month and it has done wonders for me so far. I went out yesterday (22 degrees by the way) and played 9 holes. I shot a personal best of 49. My average for 9 holes is 55-56. I think I would have done much better in normal weather. Every time I hit the green from any distance (80 yards or farther), the ball bounced like it had just hit the cart path and shot off the green. There were several holes where this cost me at least one stroke if not more. I'm confident I'll be in the mid to low 90's when the weather breaks a little.Tags: None

Well done with the round, put two of those together with better green holding and the low nineties will be there for sure.
In the meantime unless bunkers / water prevent it try landing it short of the green and getting a bump and run effect onto the surface - if its not stopping then don't fight it use it.
I'm with Robin, with the ball bouncing, shoot short of your targets. Worse case, if the ball stops, will be a chip from just short in front and if it bounds forward, it's all good to go...
The 80's aren't far away for you...
Hang in there...
Cheers
Someone here at work mentioned stopping short and chipping on. Just another course management thing for me to learn.
It was a blast getting out and putting in such a good 1/2 round (for me anyway). A mortician couldn't have wiped the smile off my face.
