I'm sorry to say I posted my worst gross score in over 2 years this weekend...

No excuses, but, I had been out "par-tay-ing" all night and arrived at the club having had less than an hours sleep in the previous 30...
Probably should have stayed at home in bed.....
The tone of the day was set when after a wonderful opening tee shot which split the first fairway to about 3/4 wedge out, I promptly hit that wedge rifle straight 45° left to finish pin high 40m left of the flag in the middle of the adjacent 2nd tee box......
At the end of the day I signed for a 105 gross, which included 40 putts and 8 penalty strokes (2 OOB's, a lost ball and a self called ball moved after address)...
Not my best work by a stretch...
This week is catch up on sleep deprivation as I was up all night last night as well watching the Federer Nadal match...
That was worth it though...
Have a great week, as for me, I'll be spending much of it asleep!!!
Thanks for reading (and hopefully NOT laughing

Cheers

10 less putts and no penalties and the round would have been back around the high 80's again and (on the day in question, when a net 72 won the Medal) not all that far away from the chocolates.
Just goes to show, a PW can be just as entertaining, if not more so, than a PB...
Oh, and I forgot to mention, I did win the NAGA for the day...
Cheers
The prize for he who comes "stone motherless last"...
Not A Golfer's A******....
or somthing like that....
