Today's round was always going to be interesting for me, in that I was VERY interested to see how this "new" me was going to follow up last week's round.

Having looked at my handicap/result history during the week, I was in no way surprised that having shot a good score one week, I had ALWAYS backed it up with a SHOCKER......

Well, I'm happy to say, finally in my golfing life I have now checked another golfing "To Do" item off the list, back to back rounds resulting in a handicap reduction...

38 stableford points, 22 of them on the back 9.

A gross score of 83, 44 front, 39 back. Only 30 putts, including 8 1 putt greens. That had me smiling I can tell you. Where I'd been leaving putts short over the last week or 2, this week I got everything to the hole and actually made a few. 4 or 5 putts of over 15 feet would drop on the day. One being a 25 footer on the par 3 8th hole to save bogey and another of 25 feet for birdie on the par 4 11th.

Mentioned in a previous post I'd had 10 straight rounds where I'd gone out 0.1, well, I got 9 of those 10 back in 2 rounds.

We're playing a 2 man ambrose event this week as a fun round before our Club's Presentation Night dinner. I'm paired with a good mate of mine, so it should be the fun round we're all hoping for.

Thanks for reading.
Cheers
