  • Drill for SK2

    Hi Guys,

Just want to clarify the head cover placement for the drill. In the photo it is clear where to place it parallel to the target line. The issue I have is how far back in the stance is it? Is it opposite the rear foot, or 1/2 way between the foot and ball position, or .......????

Any feedback on this would be great. Thanks.

i place it half an inch back of the ball, if you are approaching the ball from the inside you still wont hit the headcover!

I`m a bit confused here. I asked a similar question some time back and Greg Hutton gave me the following reply:

"Place it about 10 -12 inches. There is a good photo on page 42 of NAIL IT showing the best placement of the basket looking "down the line". Remember to use one of your longer clubs while doing this, making sure that it is just the headcover that you hit in the worst case".

Slats, don`t you think 1/2 inch is just a little close?
