    Re: Swing Tempo

    Hi Christopher,

Hitting on an in to out swing path with a one plane swing will tend to create fat shots, this is due to the low point of the swing being created behind the ball. Work on your swing plane being in to in so that impact is at the widest point of the arc.

      Hi Brian,

I don't seam to have much of a problem with skill 2 but I have found I have a tendency to come from too much on the inside on the down swing. I have found that if I focus more on skill 1 with the tempo going in my head it tends to be a good shot. I think I need to groove this a bit before I move on to trying to shape my shots which I tried on the weekend, it was funny as...

Trying to hit a larger draw, closed my stance while keeping shoulders and club face parallel to target line. Hitting form the inside on the downswing ....... results in a nice little push shot. Hell of a way to do it

Like all things I guess. Practice, Practice, Practice.

Take up ballroom dancing for tempo.....it makes the wife happy, and you don't have to tell her it's for your golf game.
