    Hi guys,
My interest has been piqued by the limited information about 3skills. I've ordered the book and hope it's worth it.
It would be nice if someone here with experience with 3skills could post some up-to-date information on it for others who may be thinking about buying it. I will of course post as soon as I have used the book for a while.
    Regards Peter

The concept of 3 Skills is to abandon such swing thoughts as 'wrist break' and only focus on the 3 skills and associated imagery and drills.

If you achieve SK1 then you should be making good contact with the ball, ie: ball/turf contact with irons/woods and level contact with the driver and 3 wood. You should be hitting the ball with an inside swing arc that catches the ball at the widest part of the arc and hits it slightly right of target with SK2. SK3 will have you turning the clubface from open to closed through impact so that you draw the ball back to target with a good powerful hit.

Can you explain why you are getting poor impact please?

3 Skills shows that you should have your hands ahead of the clubface in the downswing and you should imagine the clubface moving from an open position just before impact to a closed position just after. This will create the 'draw' shape where the ball moves from right to left.

For 3 skills to work for you you have to abandon other swing thoughts and only work on the drills and imagery.

Yes, it's a good idea to start with half swings then increase the length as you become proficient.

That's good to hear. If I can take just one thing from the book then it's been worth it.
