hi all
as you know i have been carping on about the book "nail it" by 3skillsgolf.com since my return from the GTO golf day.
well after 3 fruitful practice sessions at the range ive had a chance to take it to the course tonight and the results were awesome!
not wanting to be controversial but as ian h touched on before how come some everyday pro can make the game so simple while most of the games elite coaches can overcomplicate things to the point where you havent a clue as to what you are supposed to be doing!
in just under 3 years of playing i have had 2 lessons, bought numerous DVD's, coaching manuals and read 100's of tips on forums like this one.
this approach has got me to a 22 handicap and thats probably where i would have stayed due to inconsistent ball striking.
then i went to the golf day and was introduced to 3skills by kevin, i bought the book and have read it through a couple of times, its so simple to follow its untrue and so i managed to groove the practice drills fairly quickly,
only had chance to play 9 due to time restrictions but it was enough to tell me that im going in the right direction!
front 9 4,4,5,5,4,5,4,5,4!
first time i used driver was on the 2nd hole and there was an audible gasp as i nailed a bullet like draw 40 yards past everyone elses ball.
iron shots were crisp, played some nice pitches and chips.
this book has already had a massive effect on my game after only 4 days so god knows what it will be like after a few months
