Swing Dynamics and 3 skills:
I have been considering the question of whether it is possible to concentrate solely on the 3 skills or if you need to also work on swing dynamics to make them effective.
The jury is still out at this moment but I am warming to the view that if the 3 skills are practiced and perfected then the swing should follow. I think basic fundamentals like grip, posture and address should be taught first. It is not possible to make good ball contact with the 3 skills unless you are fundamentally using your body in a way that allows them to be executed. This suggests that if you are able to execute the skills then your body movements must be correct.
If you had a reverse pivot, for example then you could not use exercise 1 correctly. If you come over the top you could not achieve 2. If you had too much body sway then again you would not achieve 1 or 2. And so on.
So! as I said I am warming to the theory that if you have a good swingpath through impact that creates the desired ball flight then your body must be doing the right things without focusing on them.

I dont know but a discussion is a 2 way conversation about PRO's and CON's and those who need and are asking for help, but not the way this thread has headed, with people chipping in every now and then saying its shit, it dont work you need lessons, maybe not used those exact words but if you read this thread from start to finish as I did to catch up (been away) then you can see my point.
