    Thats the only difference mate,

When ever I have a great round I get up and down and putt well.

    Tiger,

Has a little bit more than most in the 'will to win' side of his brain.

You can be a sks wizard like all tour players are, but it's no good if you can't think your way around the course.

    Ian.

Perhaps we could get an explanation from the mods, for the record.

i believe the mods are looking into it and speaking with cmays about it and when they come to a conclusion they will let us know what has happened.
                  cheers

This thread is about 3 skills and not Cmays. Greg has explained the situation in two other threads. Please understand that anyone can post their opinions on golfing matters here but the site needs to protect it's self against anyone who uses personal insults against other members. The issue is not about golf.

it was not a off subject thread as it was related to the difference in the numbers of posts on this thread and how they were diffrent. main page says 513 post and this page says 502.
                          cheers

I have to agree here with most of this, as a player that gets out to the tour once per year one thing that amazes me every time that 'Tour Players' are not as good as you think, every year I watch a whole load of poor shots, duffs, two out of a bunker (Casey) drives flying miles off line.

My point being that television only ever focuses on the guys who are playing their socks off, which they are all capable of, but when you watch it live and see the likes of Casey, Campbell and others shooting nearly 80 in a round it brings home just how difficult this game is.

3SKs no doubt inproves your ball striking, it definatley un-clutters your mind to help you enjoy the game more, it builds confidence as this thread proves, but we all need to learn course management thats for sure, I always remember there is such a thing as a good two putt even if it means bogey.

                            Ian.

                            My point exactly,

Simon Wakefield European Tour Winner, (Local Stoke boy) shot an 82 this morning in NZ, worse than that he's in my Fantasy Team.....................

Some day it just doesn't work no matter how good your ball striking is.

                            Ian.

                                hi guys
posted this review on golfmagic.com and modsquadgolf.com

                                "hi all
as regular users of the chat room will know i have been carping on about the book "nail it" by 3skillsgolf.com
I first came across the concept while attending .a golf day at the forest of arden in late august.
well after a little over 2months of practice sessions I have to say for me its an overwhelming success!
not wishing to be controversial but how come some an everyday pro can make the game so simple while most of the games elite coaches can overcomplicate things to the point where you haven’t a clue as to what you are supposed to be doing!
The author Joe Hagan delivers a golf method that works and is laid out in a very clear and concise manner.
in just under 3 years of playing i have had 2 lessons, bought numerous DVD's, coaching manuals and read 100's of tips on forums like this one.
this approach got me to a point where I could card around 100 wherever I played but that’s probably where i would have stayed due to inconsistent ball striking.
then i went to the golf day and was introduced to 3skills by Kevin McDonald PGA, i bought the book and have read it through numerous times, its so simple to follow its untrue and so i managed to groove the practice drills fairly quickly,
there is a practice drill for each of the skills and if practiced diligently then the results will follow.
The book debunks many of the myths that are applied to the golf swing and if you are prepared to let go and clear your head of swing mechanics you have a better chance of success! This book is all about finding the sweetspot!
Other than the drills it places great importance on visualisation and imagery, the title of the books represents the main concept of hammering a nail through the ball by applying the club head to the ball squarely in differing angles of attack and on an inside path.
All I will add is that this book will work for golfers of all skill levels but more so for high handicappers who struggle to hit the ball consistently well
Any questions just give me a shout."
