  • Help - Good deals on putters

I had my odyssey 2 ball "lifted" from the golf course last week having just cut it 1 inch and re-gripped it!

I now need a new putter as the only one left in the garage is a 12 year old zebra fake which feels like a peice of wood with a rock on the end!

Has anyone seen any decent deals on putters recently or got any going secondhand. I am keeping an eye on ebay aswell but need to get to my local store to try some out before purchasing.

    Cheers

eBay, my boy. If you're patient, you can always find a deal!

Cheers - I am looking and am waiting to see an odyssey DFX 2-ball with new grip and no headcover being sold by someone in Surrey......I am sure it will show up on Ebay soon!

Otherwise I think I will be keeping an eye out for a Scotty Cameron, tried a few models and really liked one or two but not the price.

The crumb who swiped your club probably cheats on his score like a banchee. How low can you sink???

It would not have been stolen on my home course that's for sure. I hope he three putts ever hole and gets the worst case of sh**ks for the rest of his golfing career......but I am not bitter....honest!

            JC,

Is it worth a bit of money? It may be covered under your house and contents insurance or the club's insurance. Perhaps the excess isn't much to pay.

New it was £80 a few years ago but only selling for £40 on ebay now. It is covered under my house insurance with no excess but I would prefer to save it for if my whole set ever get stolen!

I have since bought a scotty cameron studio 1.5 for a bargin price on ebay. I am very happy with it and am holing more putts so maybe the scum that stole my putter has done me a favour of sorts!
