    Cameron,

    My opinion is unilaterally yes.

Without seeing your swing or knowing your current gear and/or launch numbers, it's a total **** shoot making an equipment recommendation.

Lets start with driver make, model and stamped loft, shaft make, model, flex and any other numbers or letters printed on the shaft.

If you can get total clublength, that'd be good.

Swing speed is helpful. Your average carry (or carry plus roll, but either way state which it is). If you're guessing, say so. If it's GPS or rangefinder verified, say so, too.

Normal shot shape (not your best - but rather, what you hit 8/10 times).

From here, we can get you well on your way.

      hi
with a driver the lie is not as important as with irons but to get a driver set up to give you the right spin rate to get the longest flight and to get the right angle of launch is so very important, you could just go through 200 or so drivers and pick the one that gave you the shot you want and felt good.
or you could go to a fitter and have the driver set up to match your swing.
that thing is knowing you have a driver to match your swing also give you that bit of confidence that knowing you have the best club in your hand for your swing. most golfers have a few driver laying about but the guys that have drivers fitted to there swing normally only have that driver and stick with it a lot longer too.
buying cloths that are fitted or a pair of fitted shoes is so diffrent to one picked off a rack where that size tried to cover two sizes.
it's the same with golf clubs the ones on the shelf are made to fit a guy 5"10 to 6 foot.
if you 5"11 guy then it might fit fine but then again it might not.
      cheers
      bill

Best thing i ever did. Shop around though as some actually discount the cost of your fitting if you buy so you end up getting fitted for free.
