impact feels great..the ball is coming off with tremendous force....my tendency to fade the ball looks to be gone.....ball flight is lower and penetrating.......perhaps need to get the irons bent up a little

        Lowpost
Iron shots are lower with good velocity. Tendency is to go left. The whole point of the shafts were to get the ball to soar. I am hitting 6 iron 195. Do you thing I need to get the loft adjusted up 1 degree. Shot 44 on front which is about 2 strokes higher than average. Been pretty lucky. Up 20 bucks!

Going left - pulls or hooks?

Why do you want your trajectory up?

Answer these then we can get to necessary bending.

            Thanks for your help.

The ball pulls left. More than likely it is alignment due to thw fact I was fading the ball.

I want my trajectory up so whwn I hit my irons they hit and roll less than 5 yards.

I could accomplish this with the true tempers but wanted a little more consistency and yardage

OK, I totally missed this in another post - Fallout 3 is due out this Fall.

Now, you need to determine if you're hitting a straight ball and just aligned left, or if you're truly pulling the ball. Also, is the pull more pronounced in the short irons, or is it the same pull no matter what the club. If it's the former, I'd say the lies are too upright. If it's the latter, then it's a swing/alignment/ball position issue.

To increase trajectory, bending the clubs weak will work. However, you'll also lose yardage per club - loft is the #1 determiner of distance and trajectory.

I assume you're still getting far to much rollout?

                I'd say rollout has increased.

It is an aligmnment issue. Got that corrected.

Gotta bend 'em then - or reshaft with something even more tip-soft.

so in your estimate what is happening....the club head is coming in closed?

Re: Need help..have questions about my club fitting

Actually, In thinking more about this, perhaps you need something more tip stiff for your swing speed. It could very well be that you're still overpowering the softer tip - dynamically delofting the club, lowering trajectory and increasing distance.

I remember Chuck Quinton doing some testing and the softer shaft actually went lower and longer as it was lagging more than the stiffer-tipped shaft (which prevented more dynamic delofting).

It's not unreasonable to think that this is what's happening. As for direction, I was considering the possibility that the lies were too upright, or if there was serious bending to the ball flight that the shaft was too soft (causing overactive hands through impact).

If you back off a little and swing a little slower I'll assume your trajectory gets higher and perhaps spins more.
