    hi Davie
nail brush and some fairy liquid (dish washing) and some hot water.
the fairy leave them a bit tacky but help you grip them when its wet.

      Hi Davie

I've always gone with warm soapy water and a firm nail brush.

      Dishwashing liquid works well.

      Cheers

buy a new set off e-bay for £20 ish!!!!!

seriously though a dishcloth dampened with white spirit brings grips out quite nice, just be aware if they have paint in the branding lettering or the "tread" (crosslines for example) that might smear if you arent careful.

The white spirit degreases and 'puffs' up the rubber a bit, making them tackier.

I use dishwashing soap and hot water as well. Really works well.

              What the... wash? Huh?

Blow 'em off, blow new ones on. Use the old ones for disciplining children.
