  • HELP! Need tip trimming info for TT LITE (not TT LITE XL)

I'm repairing a club for a friend, a 5 iron, who has given me the replacement shaft which is a DG TT Lite in Regular Parallel, .370". His other shafts are TT Lite XL stiff and they have different step lengths and numbers than TT Lite

The shaft I'm trying to identify doesn't have XL on the shaft label, so I'm assuming that this is the normal TT Lite? Does this exist as I can't find any reference to this on the Internet or if these are the same shafts or replaced by XL and if the tip trimming is the same or different? The shaft I need to trim has the following measurements:

The overall uncut raw length is 40", (12" tip (.370"), followed by 12 steps at 2", and final butt step at 4"(.600")). Weight is around 126g

Anyone with any ideas for tip trimming for a 5-iron??

    Thanks

Could be a Dynalite, But more likely a Dynamic Gold (DG) Lite.

    Try this: http://truetemper.com/golf/dynamicgoldlite.asp

Thanks, LowPost, but I don't think it's it as the but is .610". However, I only have a maximum length of 2.5" of tip to trim to match the other clubs with a 1/4" difference in length.

I'll just have to see if he wants to go ahead with is seeing as he's already bought the shaft, but it'll play differently to the others clubs

What heads are you shoving this thing into? It may be a parallel/taper issue.
