    I bought a couple of titalist wedges on ebay(vokey,oilcan finish)they rust and look tarnished.can you put stuff on them to protect them?

    Hi Bill,

    Those are great wedges. The oil can finish is likely wearing off. The rust is because of the soft carbon alloy steel, which is softer than other materials like stainless steel, and adds to the "feel" of the clubhead on the ball.

    Play with them, and wipe off the loose rust with a towel, as you would clean off loose debris with any of your other irons.

      hi
      give them a soft rub with some fine wire wool and wd40 then clean them off and a rub with a balled up roll of tin foil. foil like you cook food in. you get some metal of the foil and it put a coating on the face of the club.
      does work on rusted irons and shafts too.
