  • Refitted clubs

I am thinking about getting my son used golf clubs. I am also going to get him fitted. I was wondering if they can refit someone with used clubs. He has grown from his last set (2"). I know that club length should not be a problem. But lie angle is what I am wondering about. I think depending on what the club head is made of you can give it a new angle if needed.

    Re: Refitted clubs

Length is more important to get right than lie. If he needs extreme bending (outside 3 degrees IMO) then he needs his lengths redone.

But yes, it's completely possible to pull the shafts or bend the heads.

        Re: Refitted clubs

        hi
if you get a second hand set of pings, look to see who near you has a ping open day and they will change the loft for free. they will also give you a free fitting too if it an open day.
if interested in pings then do an on/line fitting and you will get some idea of the color code your son will need.
if you buy from a ping supplier then all clubs are fitted.
        cheers
        Bill
