  • One confused unit.

I built a tube and bearing spine finder. With steel shafts I have found the shaft snap quickly into position. Now..is the spine located at 12 oclock or 6 oclock ? Having answered this, where do I place the shaft in the vice in relation to the spine position and head position? Having answered this, which way should I be bouncing the shaft, horizontally with toe up? Vertically with toe up? Vertically with toe horizontal, or horizontal with the toe horizontal ?And in all this where should the spine be?
As you can see I am overloaded with the results of my searches alot of which is contradictory.
Please help as I will shortly be assembling my first set of clubs from scratch and need to nail this down.

    Regards golfshooter

The NBP rotates to the top (so the spine is on the bottom).

Spine goes to 12 o'clock (ie perpendicular to the target line, and if it was visible the golfer would see it at address).
