I bought my driver off of ebay and got a awesome deal on it, a Taylormade R580 with aldila nv shaft. The club is in perfect condition. It came with around 3 strips of lead tape at the back around the entire club. I guess just to increase swing weight. Should I remove this tape and see how it goes and adjust to my preferences. If so what is the best way to remove the lead tape. Thanks

Re: Lead tape on the driver
Just peel the tape off slowly and wipe the adhesive that gets left behind off with some meths, dont use acetone or white spirit they will dissolve the paint.
The best thing is Iso Propyl Alcohol, but unless you work in a lab or at a refinery you wont have any and I dont think they sell it at the pharmacist.
