I have a set of Ping Eye2's that are in good shape, with the original steel shafts. I cannot tell what flex they are, but I think stiff. I like the irons, but need more distance and have been thinking of a new set. My question, would I benefit by reshafting my Pings with some good graphite regular flex shafts, or should I sell them and custom make Snake eyes or Dynagolf etc. My swing speed with a 6 iron is about 75 and I hit it about 140 yards . Handicap is 25 or so.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: reshafting Ping eye2
If your six iron is only going 140 yards, and you're average sized (and not a teenager), spend your money on some lessons first. You're missing distance due to poor mechanics.
That said, if you're smaller than average, young, or a woman, then a reshaft with graphite might work. You'll probably realize a 5-8 yard increase, assuming that all things remain equal (and you may need to get your heads bent to account for the extra length).
