I have been playing with some old Tommy Armour Ti-100 for years and am ready for upgrades. Having the Dynacraft Golf Hybrid iron set put together today. The 3 and 4 iron being Hybrids irons, the 5,6,7 are undercut cavities and the 8 down are cavity backs. Got the A wedge & S wdge as well. Shafting with Graffaloy Prolaunch blue R flex. I am 62 with a swing speed with a 5 iron of about 75 with pretty good tempo and mechanics. I hit a 5 iron about 160. Any thoughts on my club selection

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: Brand new irons from components
I like the call on the hybrids. I find it strange that the mid irons are muscle-cavs and the shorties are cavs - I thought it would have been the other way around.
The prolaunch blue is a nice shaft - just take the appropriate steps when cutting them.

Sounds like you have done your homework and you have chosen some good heads and shafts. The heads will give you foregiveness and the shafts are light weight which will help increase swing speed. The only problem you may have with your swing speed is the R flex may be too stiff. Other than that, some great choices in heads and shafts.
