anyone remove the non-moveable weights in TM R5?

I guess that sounds funny, but I've heard the permanent weights in the Taylor Made R5 aren't permanent. Has anyone had success removing them and replacing them with alternate weights from the R7 or R5 TP? Yes, I realize this would void the warranty, but I bought the club used, so I probably don't have a warranty anyway.

I've never done it since I have the TP but I know people who have. A little bit of heat from a microtorch or heat gun and they should come right out.
