  • Lie Angle

Hi, I have been golfing for Approximately 7 years ( 12.2 Handycap). I have just resently had my irons adjusted to 1 degree flat. I seem to be making better contact with the ball. I can only hit into a net right now. Course's arn't open yet. Would line angle make that much difference? Thanks

    Re: Lie Angle

If your club was bottoming out before a quarter inch off of center. Most of your hits will tend to migrate off center about as much.

      Short answer, yes.

Long answer, yes with an explanation.

The short of the long answer is that a modern PW that is 1° out in lie angle will be 22 feet off line at 100 yards.

The long answer is more math, and I'm not typing it!
