  • Grip removal

    Hey ya'll,

I think I know the answer to this but I thought I would ask anyway.

Is there a way to remove grips without cutting them off?

I ask because a recently installed shaft extender has come loose and needs to be re-done. Since the grip is brand new, I would prefer to salvage it if possible. Probably not, huh?

    Re: Grip removal

2 methods, both involve grip solvent.

One is to inject grip solvent under the grip, then use a spring-style grip remover.

The other is to inject grip solvent in through the vent hole, slap a protector tube over the grip, and hit it with the air.

Finally, you could just cut it off and put another one on.
