I am a golf player taking golf lessons through online and periodically, I used to hone my skills by taking cues from video demonstrations but my friend suggested me to use a three piece hybrid golf ball instead of the regular two piece which I play . Can anyone tell me why?

PCS Class 'A' Clubfitter
A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: Hybrid Golf Ball
A 3 piece ball will offer more spin into and around the greens over a 2 piece ball.
A 4 piece ball will offer even more spin, and the Taylormade Penta (the only 5 piece ball) works really well off all clubs.

Re: Hybrid Golf Ball
These balls are expensive and beginners tend to loose quite a few balls. I would suggest that as a begginer you will not get any real bennifit from these expensive balls, try a mid range ball like the Srixon Soft Feel or AD333.

It may seem counterintuitive but when you step onto the golf course, the more invested you are in each shot, the less you can rely on the hard work you have put into your game during practice. Do the work on the driving range so that you don’t need to worry about it when you need it. Click here
