  • Psychology with Zen Golf

    Hi everyone,

As an avid follower of golf psychology I have just downloaded for the first time ever a 'book' yes book to my iphone 'Zen Golf', listening to the author read it to me is a reverlation I must say.

I have studied Tai Chi before and the centering of the body is nothing new to me, however this book escaped me, I have covered nearly every book available at some time or another but missed this one.

Tai Chi can be a little boring and not really for me, however the Zen following is a little more based around the set-up in golf and the centering of the body and the breathing which I think is one of the most important aspects of golf, 'to relieve tention'.......

    any thoughts?

      Hi Ian
been using Tai Chi as a form of exercise for over 30 years and think it keeps me flexable and it easy to use a club across your chest with your hands holding it at the shoulders and then using Tai Chi to turn. as you will now it all about the breathing and not only does it help you relax before a round but it get the mind in the right mind set too.
      cheers
      Bill
