    Hi everyone,

I've been playing for 18months now (so, fairly new to the game), enjoyed every facet of golf, and the challenges of learning this great game. At first golf was fun! My scores went down and down very quickly (shooting in the 80's). Then I went through a stage where I felt that I knew how to play a reasonable game for someone who'd started in their 40's. I've read and studied everything I can find on attaining that elusive perfect swing....then that's where the problems started. I wanted to get even better! However, I found that the more I knew and the more I played, the worse I got! Now I was far from enjoying my game...and my scores were reflecting this (I was back to playing in the 90's).

Just recently, I found this web site at www.conceptgolf.com that contains some ideas that I'd like to share with others, who, like me, have come up against a brick wall in their game. Some of the ideas might not be for everyone, but an awful lot of it makes sense, I feel.

I've been applying some of the ideas in recent games and, you know what, it's worked! Scores aren't yet back in the 80's, but more importantly, I'm having fun! Yes, that's right, FUN! With all the magazines, latest fixes, swing tips etc...I'd forgotten what a great fun game golf is.
What I've learned from it is that, it's not how beautiful your swing looks or how far you drive that tee shot, but what you want and actually get out of playing the game. Not having a "CLASSIC" swing isn't a crime! The real game of golf IS played between your ears. I feel like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Check it out .... I'd love to hear your opinions on it.

PS. No, I don't work for and am not associated with the site in any way.
