Had a chat with a guy that repairs and sets up clubs for you, he said that I should visit his workshop and measure my swing to see why am hitting short drives he said it could be my shaft is wrong and would sort it out for me in 1hr, what do you guys think should I visit him or not.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.

Go see him.
Make note of the following:
How he determines your swing speed, launch angle, ball speed and spin
What he tells you about your current swing and equipment
What he recommends
Report back!
(At the very least, it's good to know your ball speed, launch angle and spin rate numbers. Even if you never see this guy again, you've got your pertinent information for a driver fitting).

Couldn't hurt, I did the same thing last week. Still don't have my driver back though. Probably the last time I'll do business with golf discount.
