Anyone out there with any experience with the "Golf MVP Red Heat" training device. Their web page does a pretty good selling job.

Yes, I am pretty high on this device. I shot 77 today and I was a 14 handicap last month. I have had this one for about 45 days. I use it for about 20 minutes before I play. It does many things. It sets my tempo. It gruves me on to the proper plane. No more over the top. And best of all for the first time I feel what it is to have lag in the club which creates torque just like the big boys. This thing has added about 30 yards to my driver. It took me a little while to understand it but that is because like most users, we don't watch the video or read before we jerk it out of the box and run to the range. That is a big mistake and you will not understand that putting it on properly is a big key to success. You must use the training/teaching CDs to understand this device as what it is doing is teaching you to swing just like that "Iron Bryon" hitting machine that has the perfect plane every time. So all I can tell you is it really works and at 10 am tomorrrow I will put it back on and swing with 5 or 6 of my different clubs for 20 minutes and then tee it up again. I can't get enough of it and my confidence is high for the first time in golf.

As your both first posts? At least participate a while in the forum before sneaking a smelly spam-fish in there. Good try though.

I have to say . . . purchase with caution the Golf's MVP Red Heat. Their customer service is deceptive and they've got a new scam they are trying to run. The product itself is good, very similar to a weighted club. They are now offering $100 worth of free gas. When I called them to ask what that entailed, they acted very innocent about the promotion and that it just meant $100 in the form of a coupon. Couldn't be further from the truth. You get a card that gives you a code, you pay $5 then buy $400 worth of gas over a 4 month period, send in your receipts and then get $25 worth of gas each month in a coupon you can actually use. You have to register for the promotion and it takes a lot of time. On top of that I had to contact the Golf's MVP people for my $100 free gas coupon as they didn't mail it out with the product. I'd give the company a big thumbs down on integrity.

Well if you think I a scam fish big boy why don't we just tee it up? All I am telling you is it works. If you can't afford it then keep on hacking the ball around or go play with your wife. I don't really care. It worked for me.

I found this post because I'm thinking of buying the MVP Read Heat and the thread came up in the google. I just had to reply to you comment about "go play with your wife". I hope you realize that there are lots of fantastic women golfers (yes, even wives!) that out play you or anyone else. You were upset at the person that assumed you were a spammer, so you should not assume that all wives are bad golfers!

              Greg,

As you have been with this forum for some time, I hope you can help.
I sent a thread regarding the MVP Red Heat from Australia. It appears that I have now been sent two faulty units. The second unit I believe is the same one I sent back, with the contents put in another box. Do you know if this company can be trusted or am I wasting my money returning the unit again.
              Any help would be appreciated.

              Regards,

              BarryH

I ended up buying something that has the same purpose as the Red Heat but is much less complicated and not expensive. I purchased the Swing Glove. Go look it up on line. It keeps your left wrist straight. When you keep your left wrist straight (no swatting) then your right wrist has no choice but to have the proper wrist cock. I love it. Regardless, I would recommend that you send the Red Heat back for a refund and don't take no for an answer. There are a lot of ways to learn what you are trying to learn without something so complex. I didn't buy it because it looked like it had too many moving parts that could break or not work correctly.

Thankyou for your reply. Golfs MVP Red Heat have now advised they will send another unit, without me returning the faulty one. If they do this I would be satisfied with their assistance. I will wait to see if I receive the new unit.
