I slice everything. From my driver to my pitching wedge.I've tried everything.Last week at the course I tried closeing my clubface so much that the ball should have went straight left.My clubface was at a 45 degree angle to the target.I did this just to see what would happen.I hit the ball and it sliced!!! The next hole I squared up to the target at the tee box.I then turned left .I must have been at a 45 again left of the target.I hit the ball and still ended up in the hardpan on the right side of the fairway !!! I think I have the worst slice of anyone in the world. My brothers get mad cause they tell me to play the slice.I don't want to.I want to try to fix it but I can't.The really sad part is although I still slice it I hit my 3 wood off the ground twice as far as my driver at the box. They tell me to hit my 3 wood at the box.I don't want to.What a disadvantage.Hitting a 3 while everyone else hit's a driver.I am so much shorter than everyone else.I can use a long tee and tee it up high and still hit the ground behind the ball sometimes.I am so inconsistant. This is so aggrivating.I am not having fun at the course at all.The sad part is 2 months ago I was starting to hit fareway's off the drive. All of the sudden I am sliceing again. Our course is a par 71 with a 69 rating and a 117 slope.Oh by the way I got a birdie today lol.I hit a worm burner and hit a goose lol. Here's the thing.I got a book.Ben Hogan The modern fundamentals of golf.I have the grip down.I think my posture is good.My stance I think is as how he show's it.My back swing is wide like he say's. I can't keep my left elbow straight at the top of my backswing like he does. That's where it ends lol.My thru swing is not like his.I just can't get it.I need some pointer's.Is there anyone out there that can help me?Please ! I am just not having fun out there.I keep going back cause I'm addicted. But I want it to be more fun.
