  • What shaft for your driver

I bought a new driver this year, and it has an aldila nvs65 shaft. I don't think the shaft really matches up to my swing real well. My ball flight has changed, and It doesn't seem like I get much roll anymore.
My club head speed has been measured between 108 and 112mph, and ball flight starts low and will hold for about 150 yards and then it balloons. It could be something with my swing, but I don't really want to tinker with it because I've been hitting alot more fairways this year.
I was just wondering if there was a shaft that might help me neutralize the spin. Any thoughts?

First I'd junk the NVS. Second, what flex is it? I'll assume R based on your information.

You can improve results immediately by moving to the NV 65 S, and if you still want a lower trajectory, the NV 65 X.

My driver has a stiff shaft, maybe it has something with the kick point. I need to go hit some other clubs to see if theres a difference.

The NVS has a soft tip. The NV is appreciably stiffer.

The other possible contributing factor is too much loft on your driver; having you over-spin the ball.
