  • swing thought

After loosing sight in one eye, I struggled with my game. I took several lessons, which helped in the short run, but soon wore off due to "paralysis by analysis" and the frustration of depth perception loss. On utube I caught the series from Jay Golden, expert village. I started to use his mental image and it "seemed" to help.
I no longer think about my swing what so ever and have had very good results.
I would appreciate any comments from anyone who has viewed and tried it. I'm sure it's nothing new, but am waiting for the improvement tobe short lived.

    Re: swing thought

Thank you for your observations. Balance is an issue with me that I am struggling to resolve. Golden's swing thoughts do make me more of an arm swinger than I ever was before, but does make my contact more consistent, with an obvious loss of distance. I'm sure it's been a timing issue that I never had to think about......golf was so much easier (never easy) before my sight loss. Is there anyone else out there with a similar problem/suggestions ?
