  • Blister on left thumb? weak grip?

    Hey everyone and anyone.

I bought a new Taylor Made driver the other day and I went to the range last night to hit a few balls, I didn't wear my glove and I got a nice little blister on my left thumb. I'm just wondering whether this is a sign that I'm not gripping the club correctly or it's too weak? I tend to get a hole in my glove over time in the same place.
    I don't have an official handicap but I'm about a 1.

Thanks in advance for any replies and happy golfing.

Your grips may be too small for you, this can make them move in your hand while you swing and create blisters and glove wear.

This link explains how to measure your hand to obtain the best grip size.
