  • Getting your swing in-sync

I have been struggling lately with no real clue why. I was a 3 handi a year ago and now struggle to break 80. I was reviewing a video of my swing today and the big issue I notice is that I lose my spine angle just prior to contact. Im right handed and my angle straightens up and my head goes left. From the videos it appears that my hips are turing to fast and my upper body gets stuck way behind. Does this sound like a problem and if so, what would be a good way to get the feel of getting my rotation back n'sync.
Any advice is appreciated. I might concider posting a video/picture of the fault in my swing if this gets me nowhere.
    Thanks

What exactly is wrong with your ball flight? I cannot see any sign of you lifting up.

Shoot you are correct. I was messin with some things right before I took the video, possibly I figured something out. I am still loosing my spine angle on this video, but it is nearly im possible for you to see with the quality of this video. Well any other pointers would be appreciated as well.
In my last round my ball flight was very inconsistent so I cant comment on that until I get back out on the course.

W/O commenting on your overall feeling of hips turning too fast and upper body getting stuck, a drill or thought I use when this happens is to stay left before, during and finish of swing. This helps bring my weight shift under control where the upper and lower body seem disjointed when not.
With your weight left well before contact, there is a better chance that everything will come together at impact. It works for me..
          Best of luck.

A good drill to reinstate a feeling of balance and rhythm is to hit shots with a medium iron while keeping your feet together.
